The first image is of deck-chairs on Bournemouth Pier. A good, old fashioned typically English subject. As with all my photography, composition is key to this image. I also like the colours and feel of the shot.

 The second image is a detail shot of the main stand at AFC Bournemouth, shamelessly showing the name of the sponsor C4L. This shot has had a bit of additional post processing work done using Lightroom plug-ins provided by Topaz Labs.

The third image is one of my favourite views of Bournemouth Bay, taken from the cliffs above the beach to the east of the pier, looking toward Old Harry Rocks ultimately.

Next is a new image to my website, although taken in 2012 on my Canon G11. I love this shot of one of the vertical cliff trains that save walking up the twisty paths from the beach to the cliffs above. It also shows the quality of image you can get with a compact camera such as the G11.

Lastly, a view of the Jon Egging Memorial, located on East Overcliff Drive. This memorial was opened to the public on Wednesday 29th August 2012 and serves as a permanent location where people can pay their respect to Flt Lt Egging.
