I am a professionally qualified memer of the British Institute of Professional Photography, meaning you can be assured that my photography is to a professional standard. I have been passionate about photography for over 30 years and have combined this passion with a lifetime of working in commercial environments to provide a high quality, professional photography service. My website is structured to easily and quickly provide with you the information you need about me and my professional photography services, and also enable you to view a selection of my work.
I use Canon professional cameras and lenses, and do all my own digital processing. For most jobs I can have a draft set of images with you within 72 hours of the shoot - quicker if required.

My aim on every professional photography shoot is to provide you with the images that you want quickly and professionally. I will not give you hundreds of images to sort through but will give you a selection of images that satisfy the brief.

I have a number of repeat clients, and have successfully completed every commercial photography assignment I have undertaken.

Photography Costs

I usually work on a daily or half daily rate, but can work on an hourly basis or fixed price, whichever you prefer. My price includes everything up to and including the production of an agreed set of copyright free images in whatever electronic format you require. The price I quote is the price you pay.

Locations covered by my professional photography

I am based in Dorset and work regularly in Bournemouth, Poole and Sandbanks. Other Dorset locations I cover include Branksome Park, Canford Cliffs, Evening Hill, Lilliput, Salterns Marina, Blandford, Bridport, Christchurch, Corfe Castle, Dorchester, Lyme Regis, Shaftesbury, Swanage, Wareham, West Bay, Weymouth, and Wimborne. I also work in Hampshire.

I am happy to quote for photographic work in London, Devon, Somerset, Surrey and Wiltshire, as well as in the South East and South West of England.

Welcome to the architectural photographer page of my website. On this page you can view a small selection of my favourite architectural images, and find out more about the architectural photography work that I do.

Architectural photography is my favourite area of professional photography work, and the area in which I specialise. I have had a lifelong interest in photography, and have also worked in construction management for over 25 years, so I combine my professional construction experience and passion for photography to your architectural photography commission. I am able to produce images in a variety of styles, to suit the building being photographed and the preferences of the client.

On this page of my website you can see a very small selection of architectural images which show you the high quality standard of images that I consistently produce, as well as different styles of image. The subjects are;

Dorchester Fire Station, Dorchester, Dorset.

A classic view of the front elevation of the recently constructed Dorchester Fire Station on the Poundbury Estate in Dorchester. This building was designed to be in keeping with the distinctive architecture of the Poundbury Estate, so has been taken and processed to provide a natural image.

Spinnaker Tower, Gun Wharf Quay, Portsmouth.

An unusual view of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth taken from immediately below, producing this dramatic view of the spectacular structure overlooking Gunwharf Quays. Again, ultra-sharp detailing to make this image so striking and dramatic.

Royal Bank of Scotland - Edinburgh

The base for the major bank in Edinburgh. This shows one of the styles of images that I can produce, a stunning, dramatic, highly stylised, high contrast, high detail black and white photograph with the converging verticals retained to empahsise the size and imposing nature of the building. Other styles are available of course!

Clavell Tower, Dorset

This famous Dorset landmark, recently relocated, photographed one morning just after just after sunrise. This image shows the previous location of the tower, which was so close to the eroding cliff the famous tower was at risk. Again, older buildings need to be treated with care when processing.

St Anns Hospital, Poole

The hospital has recently undergone a significant refurbishment and extension. The photograph shows the new, combined main entrance to the new two-storey facility and existing 1980s facility.
